From the workplace to the appropriate measure

Workplaces with a risk of falling differ: access, space to move and the actual task shape the requirements. There is also the question of how rescue would be possible in an incident. These relationships should already be considered during preparation.

In the initial discussion, we clarify whether you need support with a work area, equipment selection or training and instruction. Describe the specific task and existing conditions.

Training and instruction

Training content is tailored to the use of personal fall protection equipment, known in German as PSAgA, and the associated rescue equipment. A general introduction and training for a specific work situation serve different purposes.

  • Use of fall protection PPE
  • Rescue training
  • Work at height, below ground and in confined spaces
  • Individually tailored knowledge assessment

Participant numbers, prior knowledge, location and desired content are discussed beforehand. Current dates and the appropriate training format are available on enquiry.

Equipment and inspection

Occupational safety also includes the selection and inspection of fall protection PPE and rescue equipment. Manufacturer names, types, existing markings and previous documentation help with an enquiry.

The current service area also includes sales and hire. Which equipment is suitable and available for the specific use is clarified separately. Permanently installed anchor points or vertical fall protection systems belong to building safety.

GOOD TO KNOW

Frequently asked questions

What information is needed for a training enquiry?

Specify the task, working conditions, participant numbers and prior knowledge. Also describe existing equipment and the desired focus.

Are fall protection PPE inspection and training the same thing?

No. Inspecting equipment and instructing its users are different tasks. Both can be described separately in an enquiry.

Who is responsible for permanently installed safety systems?

Anchor points, cable and rail systems, and fixed vertical fall protection are covered by the building safety service field.
